BSA Rifle Shooting Merit Badge

We offer the BSA Rifle Shooting Merit Badge at the CCKC Rifle Range. The entire merit badge or any portions of the merit badge are available each month for $10/scout. If your scout was not able to finish shooting his groups at summer camp or needs some help on the range, we have precision rifles and experienced NRA instructors available to help scouts in their attempt to complete the merit badge. BSA Shotgun Shooting Merit Badge

CCKC also offers the BSA Shotgun Shooting Merit Badge at the Shotgun Range. The entire merit badge can be taught over two days for $40, but Scouts must be able to demonstrate basic shotgun marksmanship to complete this merit badge. Shotguns and ammunition are included in the registration fee. Experienced NRA instructors are available to help scouts complete the merit badge. More information

Camping and shooting opportunities

Looking for a novel shooting sports activity for your scout troop? You can arrange a weekend campout and/or shooting event at the CCKC Rimfire Range, Shotgun Range, or Rifle Range.  We are happy to host your troop! Please read the CCKC Bristol Ranges BSA Activities Guidelines which describes the opportunities available and what NRA instructor supervision your troop must provide to shoot at CCKC Bristol Ranges.

Instructor Training at CCKC

We offer NRA Instructor training for your troop has leaders who want to become NRA Firearm Instructors to assist in shooting activites.
