Hunter Safety Field Day – September 26, 2026

The Conservation Club of Kenosha County is hosting its annual Hunter Education Field Day on Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 9 AM to 2 PM.

The Field Day is the in-person portion of the Wisconsin Internet Hunter Safety Course. Students complete the online course first, then join us at the CCKC clubhouse to demonstrate firearm-handling skills across three rotating stations covering the 5 Actions of firearm handling, tree stands, transport and shooting positions, blood trailing, fence crossing, and zones of fire.

How to reserve your seat

Use the RSVP form below to reserve a seat. 30 seats have already been claimed – 20 remain. Once seats are gone the form will close.

After you RSVP, Paul Coleman will contact you within a few days with payment instructions. The Field Day fee is $10 non-refundable, payable by check, Venmo (@Paul-Coleman-63), or Zelle (847-732-2472).

You must also complete the online Wisconsin Hunter Safety course through Wisconsin Go Wild before September 26.

What to know before the Field Day

  • Class is at the CCKC clubhouse, 21001 85th Street, Bristol, WI 53104.
  • Bring a bag lunch.
  • Dress for the weather – some activities are outside, rain or shine.
  • Young hunters must be accompanied by a responsible mentor for the online portion.
