CCKC Bristol Ranges welcomes youth groups to our ranges. This page contains information for activities related to Boy Scouts of America. CCKC Bristol Ranges Hosts firearm training, shooting events, camping and service project opportunities for BSA scouts. For Adults, we have NRA firearm training courses available as well.

2024 BSA Rifle Shooting Merit Badge

The rifle shooting merit badge is offered on the 3rd Monday of the month, April through October at the CCKC Rifle Range. The entire merit badge or any portions of the merit badge are available each month for $10. If your scout was not able to finish shooting his groups at summer camp or needs some help on the range, we have precision rifles and experienced coaches available to help scouts complete the merit badge.

2024 BSA Shotgun Shooting Merit Badge

The shotgun shooting merit badge classes will start at 6pm Wed June 19th and Thurs June 20th at the Shotgun Range. Shotguns and ammunition are included in the registration fee. The entire merit badge will be taught on these two days for $30.

Camping and shooting opportunities

Looking for a novel shooting sports activity for your scout troop? You can arrange a weekend campout and/or shooting event at the CCKC Rimfire Range, Shotgun Range, or Rifle Range. Please read the CCKC Bristol Ranges BSA Activities Guidelines which describes the opportunities available and what NRA instructor supervision your troop must provide to shoot at CCKC Bristol Ranges.
